NYC Ferries

Taking a ferry in New York City is one of the most scenic and relaxing ways to travel between boroughs or across the rivers. NYC ferries offer skyline views, a breezy ride, and in some cases, a free alternative to a harbor cruise.

  • Manhattan Terminal: Whitehall Terminal, 4 Whitehall Street, New York, NY.

    • Subway access: 1 to South Ferry, R/W to Whitehall St–South Ferry, 4/5 to Bowling Green.

  • Staten Island Terminal: St. George Terminal, 1 Bay Street, Staten Island, NY.

  • Insider Tip: Sit on the right side heading to Staten Island or the left side coming back for the best photos.
